How precise can we know about the evolution of temperature and how precise can we control this evolution?

The evolution of the product temperature can be easily monitored by means of temperature sensors within the vessel. With the mixing provided by the Steam Infusion Vaction™ Unit and agitator, product bulk temperature is unaffected by steam jacketed vessel hot spots and we are able to raise the temperature to specific set-points with ease.

The Vaction™ unit operating characteristics are dictated by the pressure of the saturated steam enabling precise control of the degree of product heating. The control of the steam pressure is undertaken via a Steam Control Valve with a PID loop within the software to ensure a constant pressure.
